Provider FAQs

SmartPatch can be used on a per-physician basis or for entire clinics, hospitals, and groups.

The patch is used to identify irregular heart rhythms, such as atrial fibrillation, bradycardia, tachycardia, and other arrhythmias. It is also helpful in assessing palpitations, dizziness, and unexplained fainting episodes.

Depending on the model, the patch may transmit data in real-time to a secure cloud platform via Bluetooth and a paired smartphone or store the data for analysis once the device is removed.

After the monitoring period, the patch’s data is either transmitted or downloaded for review by a specialized technician or cardiologist. Reports are then sent back to the referring physician with any significant findings.

Contact the manufacturer or service provider for ordering details. Typically, you’ll fill out a prescription form specifying the monitoring duration and any specific concerns to address.

Yes, SmartPatch is FDA cleared for cardiac use.
